Job Description

Moon Hair & Beauty Pty Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Hairdresser to join our team in a full-time position. The successful applicant will deliver professional hairdressing services, understand each client’s individual needs and provide personalised advice on suitable hairstyles, treatments and haircare products.

This role is ideal for a reliable, creative and well-presented professional who has strong technical skills and can provide an excellent salon experience while working independently and collaboratively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Consult with clients and recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, treatments and haircare products.
Cut, trim, shape, blow-dry and style hair according to client requirements.
Perform colouring, bleaching, tinting, highlighting and toning services.
Provide shampooing, conditioning, scalp treatments and other specialised hair treatments.
Maintain accurate client records, including preferences, colour formulas and treatment history.
Clean and sanitise tools, equipment and workstations according to salon hygiene standards.
Manage appointments and provide friendly and professional customer service.
Monitor product supplies and assist with stock control.
Stay updated with current hairdressing trends, products and techniques.

Qualifications and Experience

Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent relevant qualification.
Previous professional experience working as a Hairdresser.
Strong skills in hair cutting, colouring, styling and treatments.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

Attractive annual salary between $80,000 and $90,000, plus superannuation.
