Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Counter Staff member to manage front-desk operations, assist customers, handle orders/payments, and ensure a smooth and positive service experience. The ideal candidate is polite, quick, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 

 Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers at the counter
  • Take orders, answer queries, and provide product/service information
  • Handle billing, cash, and POS machine transactions accurately
  • Manage customer complaints or forward them to the supervisor
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the counter area
  • Prepare and package items (if applicable: food, drinks, products)
  • Ensure proper display of promotional offers or menus
  • Coordinate with the kitchen/store team for order fulfillment
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and company standards at all times
  • Assist with inventory checks, restocking & basic admin tasks

 

Skills & Requirements
  • Previous experience in retail, café, restaurant, or customer service (preferred)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and cash-handling ability
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Positive attitude, polite and presentable personality
  • Flexibility to work weekends, shifts, or holidays (if required)
  • Knowledge of POS systems is an added advantage
