Job Description

About the Role:
Bree Bree’s Early Learning Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Worker to join Our team in Lincoln, South Australia. The successful candidate will provide care and supervision for children, supporting their educational and recreational development in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  •  Assist in preparing materials and equipment for children’s educational and recreational activities.
  •  Manage children’s behavior and guide their social development.
  •  Prepare and conduct daily activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
  •  Entertain children through reading and interactive play.
  •  Supervise children during recreational activities and throughout their daily routine.
  •  Maintain hygiene standards and oversee food safety practices.
  •  Collaborate with the Assistant Director/Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs.
  •  Supervise students on placement as required.
  •  Ensure the maintenance of accurate records for each child.
  •  Adhere to center policies and procedures.
  •  Liaise effectively with families and carers.
  •  Promote continuous improvement and innovation in children’s services.
  •  Ensure a safe environment for staff and children.
  •  Fulfill other duties as directed by management.
Skills and Competencies:
  •  Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  •  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable to different audiences.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  •  Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  •  Current First Aid Certificate.
  •  Valid Working with Children Check.
  •  Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
