Job Description

Hecho En Mexico is looking for a passionate and skilled Chef / Cook to join their team and deliver authentic Mexican flavors. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, and upholding food safety standards. This role requires creativity, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes (tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, etc.) to the highest standards.
Menu Support: Assist in planning, developing, and improving menu items.
Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during service.
Food Safety & Hygiene: Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize wastage.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Quality Control: Maintain consistency in food presentation, portion sizes, and taste.
Training & Leadership: Mentor and train junior kitchen staff.
