Retail Manager

Burger Road Plenty is seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Manager to join its team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of its fast-food business, ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high customer service standards and driving operational efficiency and profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee the daily operations of the fast-food outlet to ensure efficient service and profitability.
• Determine food and beverage product ranges, assess stock requirements and establish customer service standards.
• Manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers and maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotional offers and marketing initiatives to increase sales.
• Oversee customer service operations, resolve customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory, maintain accurate sales and financial records, and implement measures to minimise wastage.
• Prepare operational budgets, monitor expenses and analyse sales performance to improve profitability.
• Manage staff recruitment, rostering, training, supervision and performance to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate product availability, pricing and promotional offers across takeaway, dine-in and delivery platforms, where applicable.
• Review business performance and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and increase revenue.

Skills and Experience Required

• Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Retail Manager.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Competitive salary package of $75,000–$85,000 per annum.
