Job Description

We are currently hiring an experienced and safety focused Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver to support the delivery of cement and construction materials to project sites throughout South Australia. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in punctual deliveries, vehicle care, and strict compliance with safety regulations.

Role Responsibilities

Operate heavy trucks responsibly while complying with all Australian road laws and internal company standards
Deliver bulk cement and construction supplies to scheduled commercial and infrastructure sites
Perform pre start and post trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
Report faults, breakdowns, or mechanical concerns promptly
Complete delivery dockets, logbooks, and compliance records accurately
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Coordinate effectively with logistics teams, dispatch officers, and on site personnel
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and general upkeep

Candidate Requirements

Current Australian Heavy Vehicle Licence HR, HC, or MC
Demonstrated experience in heavy transport, ideally within construction, freight, or bulk material delivery
Sound understanding of fatigue management and transport compliance regulations
Ability to work early morning shifts and adapt to changing schedules
Strong reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safe driving practices
