Commercial Business Analyst

Accountability: The commercial business analyst will be responsible for providing accountability across the business and supporting operational and executive decision-makers. You play a vital role in being the link between the finance area and other departments, extracting productivity context for financial analysis and reporting.

This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Responsibility

• Financial and operational reporting, which includes development and maintenance of monthly board reports, budgeting, and sales reporting with KPIs, and help build tools to improve efficiency
• Analyzing commercial and financial data to identify trends, variances, and growth opportunities.
• Construct workflow charts, diagrams, and specifications to validate conclusions.
• Analyze requirements for completeness, consistency, and feasibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements across various business domains.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assess the financial and operational impacts of proposed changes.
• Participate actively in implementing approved changes to achieve desired outcomes.
• Design, test, and deploy reporting analytics to empower decision-making.
• Document solutions to enhance supportability and usability.
• Maintain a strong customer focus throughout solution design and delivery.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining BI dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Undertake all activities as directed by the CFO/laboratory manager/group technical manager and report findings.
• Provide support to the CFO/laboratory manager/group technical manager as required.
• Relief in other positions in the Finance and Administration Team when required.
• Other duties as directed

Delegation: With the approval of the CFO, you may delegate some of your duties, but you will not delegate any of your responsibilities.
