Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Counter Staff member to manage front-desk operations, assist customers, handle orders/payments, and ensure a smooth and positive service experience. The ideal candidate is polite, quick, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers at the counter
Take orders, answer queries, and provide product/service information
Handle billing, cash, and POS machine transactions accurately
Manage customer complaints or forward them to the supervisor
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the counter area
Prepare and package items (if applicable: food, drinks, products)
Ensure proper display of promotional offers or menus
Coordinate with the kitchen/store team for order fulfillment
Follow hygiene, safety, and company standards at all times
Assist with inventory checks, restocking & basic admin tasks

Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in retail, café, restaurant, or customer service (preferred)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math and cash-handling ability
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Positive attitude, polite and presentable personality
Flexibility to work weekends, shifts, or holidays (if required)
Knowledge of POS systems is an added advantage
