Job Description

Shine Family Dental Surgery is currently looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team in Wyndham Vale, VIC. If you are passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a fast-paced dental environment, we encourage you to apply.

Position Overview

The Dental Assistant will work closely with multiple dentists to support daily clinical operations. The role includes chairside assistance, maintaining infection control standards, preparing treatment rooms, assisting with dental procedures, and supporting reception tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during general dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, and materials before procedures
Ensure strict infection control and sterilisation standards are maintained
Assist with dental X-rays and radiographs when required
Prepare patients for treatment and provide post-procedure care
Maintain accurate and organised clinical records
Support dentists to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
Skills and Experience
Relevant dental assisting qualification or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental clinic environment

Requirements

Flexible availability for working hours
At least 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role
